Does your box have reverse DNS set up? I suspect your VerifyReverseMapping is set to "yes".

So, either set up a reverse lookup for your host, or turn off VerifyReverseMapping.

I changed it, but it seems that the sshd on the server ignores this directive in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.

BTW: I didn't mix it up with ssh_config.

What now? I cannot add a DNS at this time! =(

Silly question, and forgive me for asking, but did you restart sshd after making the change to its config?
