I can install SketchUp on my 10.4.x PPC Macs all day long. I have now repeatedly tried to do so with our one Intel iMac running 10.4.8 and can't get the job done.

I get SketchUp downloaded, and click on the SketchUp package when its volume's window opens. The package icon appears briefly in the Dock and then disappears.

What's going on?
