The various data apis have two different url formats for the scope parameter, it seems the wrong one is given in the documentation. This one works for me: http://www.google.com/finance/feeds/

The example URI in the documentation produces this error as well (https://www.google.com/accounts/AuthSubRequest?scope=http%3A%2F %2Ffinance.google.com%2Ffeeds%2F&session=1&secure=0&next=http%3A%2F %2Fwww.example.com%2Fwelcome.html), so I'm hoping it's not just me this time...
