thanks for your help... the suggested fix on the configure script worked. gmake and install seem to work OK. however, as i proceed with the manual bits of the install instructions i hit a problem with: # /usr/local/share/sqwebmail/libexec/authlib/authdaemond start which should be in rc.local. it fails with /usr/local/share/sqwebmail/libexec/authlib/authdaemond[17]: .: /usr/local/share/sqwebmail/authdaemonrc: not found a quick # find / -name authdaemonrc reveals an authdaemonrc in the build directories, but not installed. Can i safely copy it across to /usr/local/share/sqwebmail/ ?
