That's now how sqwebmail encodes paragraphs. The first line of the paragraph should also have a trailing softspace.

Aside from that, this is exactly how section 4.8 of RFC 2646 says paragraphs are to be encoded.

If Thunderbird cannot display this correctly, it's a bug in Thunderbird.
