There's nothing to fix. The Return-Path: header is added when mail is delivered to a local mailbox, and contains the envelope return address. Any existing Return-Path: headers in the original message are quoted, so that the message's return address is unambiguous.

Duh, of course. MAIL FROM...

How about sticking a "X-" in front of any already existing Return-Path, as opposed to ">"? The ">" seems to screw up header/body parsing in some mail clients.
