Subject:[sqwebmail] determining interaction between authlib and expectActions...

Hi ... again,

I have everything functioning fine with the latest sqwebmail and authlib.

I have expect installed.

When I modify the expect script so that the old and new passwords are explicitly stated within the script and runit as a user, it works fine.

Attempting to change the password within sqwebmail always fails.

Is there anyway to determine what is actually happening when attempting to change the password within sqwebmail? Possibly a log or some kind of test utility?

Totally unrelated but i thought I would mention, my previous issue with configuring sqwebmail required that I explicitly stated the location of $authsbindir within configure, which is wierd as it discovered everything and then failed on conftest. I think it may be to do with assuming a default install of authlib somewhere within configure.

I had to recompile/install authlib after installing expect and that also failed on conftest2. This appeared to be due to the fact I already had authlib installed at the same --prefix location. Worked once I renamed the old install.

Are both of these bugs or am I the one with the issue? Seriously?

Thanks for any help,

Sarton
