Is there a way to animate the width or height of an element so that instead of widening from left-to-right, it widens out from the center? Setting pinX doesn't do it.

Additionally, it would be nice if future versions of Google Desktop included a "zoomx" and "zoomy" property for elements, so that you could stretch entire elements such that all child elements zoom as well.
