Is there any way to mark messages as read before they get touched by your mail client? I'm using maildir format mailboxes, and can't for the life of me work out how to do this.

Well, having determined that the above is not possible (at least, not with maildir-format mailboxes), is it possible to do this at all, and if so, what format do I need to use for the mailbox?

(I do plan to look at the patches Petro mentioned, and see what I can do from there; don't hold your breath, though.)

Cheers, Aeddan.
