I normally like solving things myself, but if someone has a quick idea, I'd love to hear it at this point.

The typical bounce message looks like:

chr@hereintown.net: SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<chr@hereintown.net>: host lightning.hereintown.net [207.196.96.3]: 513 Relaying denied.

hereintown.net is not defined as a local domain.

Add all aliases and domains to sysconfdir/locals, then rerun 'makealiases'.
