Hi Allesandro
Thanks for your response. The problem was with
amavisd-new. Whenever amavisd-new was starting it
would assign amavis:amavis as the owner and group for
the filter socket located at
/var/spool/courier/allfilters/amavisd. I changed the
permissions to amavis:daemon and it started working.
Daemon is the user that courier runs as.

Ismeet

Too many errors encountered; the rest of the

is ignored:
(was that an example of bad throughput?)
and POP / IMAP users can send and recieve emails
without any problems. I can still receive email
on
webmail but can not send out. I get this error
when
sending email via webmail,
Check what auths does webmail run with.
Possibly run strace against it.
"432 Mail filters temporarily unavailable.
sendmail: Unable to submit message."
The 432 is courier being unabe to run the amavis-new
filter.
Also in courier logs I see this error message,
"Transport endpoint is not connected"
Never heard. Perhaps it's an amavis/clam message?
I don't know amavis nor clamav, but I wrote in case
anybody else is on vacation.
Happy New Year
