hello, first thanks to Sam Varshavchik for telling me to RTFM and pointing me to the right doc :-)

I've followed the instructions in the INSTALL file but I get stuck at the perftest1 script. My "ps waux |grep courier" lookslike this:

wich looks good to me because because the INSTALL doc said it would look like this (accept for a logger proccess?? but ok...)

the authdaemonrc contains authmodulelist="authuserdb"

I've got /usr/lib/courier/etc/userdb.bak .lock and userdbshadow.dat and /usr/lib/courier/etc/userdb looks like this:

test home=/home/courierusers|mail=/home/courierusers/test|gid=513|uid=513 (gid and uid are of courierusers in with homedir the mail should endup)

I made two maildirs : maildirmake /home/courierusers/test maildirmake /home/bounces

I haven't got any of the following files because the install doc didn't tell me to make them jet... /usr/lib/courier/etc/me /usr/lib/courier/etc/locals /usr/lib/courier/etc/defaultdomain /usr/lib/courier/etc/esmtpacceptmailfor

when i now run sh perftest1 1 "test-test-1" my maillog looks like this:

because the first addr=<test...@trust199.ebm.nl> I also tried sh perftest1 1 "test" This gives the same result eccept for the addr=<te...@trust199.ebm.nl>

I really hope somebody can help me with this because this seems to be the problem everytime i try to configure courier... somehow it doesnt use the userdb or something... ????
