Would you please add this to the feature request list you are managing?
Since I don't want to issue this command everytime, and I think it's difficult for most new users to find this trick.

i had a hard lock on a ndb/sql host. after rebooting the ndb nodes on the host came back up, but the sql node had problems.
This is something where PURGE STALE SESSIONS could help.
