I had some intermittent fax issues with a MGCP controlled VG224 also.

The command "no ccm-manager fax protocol cisco" seemed to helped with the intermittent receiving fax issues

We upgraded the mem on the VG224 so that we could run a new IOS and address a TACACS bug.

Currently have IOS vg224-i6s-mz.124-8.bin.

Here is part of the config that seems to be working ok for us now.

Any suggestions for improvements are welcome:
