This shows you are running some absolutely ancient version of courier-authlib, possibly from the days when courier-imap came with courier-authlib integrated.

So let's start from the beginning, which is probably where we should have started. What exact versions of

courier-imap courier-authlib and/or sqwebmail

are you running? Under what operating system? Are you running pre-compiled binary packages (if so, where did you get them from), or did you compile them yourself from source (if so, what options to ./configure did you use)
