Subject:Re: [maildropl] RHEL3, maildrop 2.0.2 doesn't make use of /etc/maildroprcActions...

Thank you for your prompt response.

Unfortunately this didn't work out. the difference that I have is that maildrop is being run by user vmail, which puts emails into /home/vmail/domain/user/... maildirs.

So my line is currently like this (after your tweak)

maildrop unix - n n - - pipe flags=DRhu user=vmail argv=/usr/bin/maildrop /etc/maildroprc -d ${recipient}

I am serving multiple domains on my servers.

The thing that troubles me is that I don't see any sign that maildrop is even reading the /etc/maildroprc file. I even made some links in folders like /usr/local/courier/etc/ but it didn't help either.

Timothy.

Hi, Timothy.

Put in your master.cf like this:

maildrop unix - n n - - pipe flags=DRhu user=maildrop argv=/usr/local/bin/maildrop /etc/maildroprc -d ${user} -w 90

Then it read the /etc/maildrop.
