Subject:Fwd: [maildropl] Question regarding mysql patch posted by ChrisActions...

List:net.sourceforge.lists.courier-maildrop

The patch is compiled with 1.6.1.

I'm not really maintaining this properly. but I have provided diffs on the mailing list.

I haven't had time to spend some time applying the patch to the latest verion as per Sam's suggestion, but I will soon.

If you can't find it on the mailing list, mail me directly. It also has other database related features.

Note: forwarded message attached.

Hello all.

Is a long time when i posted my last email on this mailing list. Now, i'm back...I found at this list, a maildrop patch used to create home users directory "on the fly". I saw also that this patch support .mailfilter configurations keeped on mysl database.... I want to test it, but i need some aditional info...

- for which maildrop version has been coded this patch? - is maintained by anyone, and if yes by who? Where can be downloaded? - if can not be downloaded by maintainer website, can anybody send me this patch vie email (as attachent)? I saw that is posted a plain text verison, but is not appling clean on maildrop-1.6.3 source code. - is anybody which use it on production server? Some succes or horror stories about postfix+maildrop(patched or not)+mysql wil be appreciated.

Presently, i am using a bash script coded by me, to create $HOME directories, but is a little heavy on large mysql database. I need a solution safe and faster...

Regards, Alex
