Hello everyone,
for one of our customers using courier 0.46 mails will be frequently
rejected with
- --8<--
534 Message header size, or recipient list, exceeds policy limit.
- --8<--
The reason is usually an very long recipient list (the sender should
have used "bcc"'s instead of "to"'s or set up a mailing list, but for
various reasons it's impossible to 'educate' these senders).
The maximum number of recipients can be increased in
{COURIER_CONFIG_DIR}/bofh, but this doesn't seem to help.
The error message implies there is also a limit on the total message
header size.
Is this limit hardcoded or can it be set in a config file as well ?
