Hi all,

I am trying to compile Courier IMAP and I am failing at getting the configure script to run properly. What's wrong is that it can't seem find gdbm even thogh it is installed on the machine. gdbm is installed as:

/usr/lib/libgdbm.so.2 -> libgdbm.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib/libgdbm.so.2.0.0

I guess that is one of the standard locations to put it. The version of gcc is 2.96 and the Courier version is 1.3.11.

Does anyone have any idea of what might be wrong? Any help greatly appricated!

Do you have the gdbm development support installed? libgdbm.a and /usr/include/gdbm.h
