Please forgive a stupid question:
To use a serial console on an E450, do I have to change the
serial port jumper to the 232C setting (the default is EIA
423)? The last time I tried to use a serial console, I had no
success at all (yes, I was using a NULL modem cable, and tried
getting in via tip).
Would someone who has a working serial console for an E450
please share his/her configuration?
Hmm. I really don't know about the jumper, in my experience e450s
have Just Worked, we have one running 5.0-R with a serial console
just fine; either it was already set right or didn't need to be changed
because I don't think it needed to be fiddled with.
