Hello. I've been using for long courier-IMAP on FreeBSD using the port version 1.6.1_1;
everything works fine with clear connections on POP3, however, lately I got the need to use POP3/SSL. I set up everything according to the docs, but I am not able to achieve my goal.

If I try and do:

openssl s_client -connect localhost:995

I get:

88388:error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown

protocol:/usr/src/secure/lib/libssl/../../../crypto/openssl/crypto/../ssl/s23_clnt.c:470:

And in /var/log/all.log I find:

pop3d: couriertls: connect: error:1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong
version number

I tried google, but found nothing with the above message in regard to courier.

Any help is appreciated.
