I have a situation where I need to move some mailboxes from one domain to another - it's a long story, but suffice to say, it can't be avoided.

I created the user in the new directory, and copied the messages from the old Maildir/new and Maildir/cur to the new Maildir/

I am able to read the messages via pop, but when I try and log in as the new user using sqwebmail 2.0 and try and read the mail, I get the following message:

"Unable to access your mailbox, sqwebmail permissions may be wrong"

Both domains were created under vpopmail, and when I check the ownership and permissions of the messages in the old Maildir/ and compare them to the new Maildir/, they are identical.

I've searched the docs, the mailing list archives and the web, but I can't seem to find any clue as to what this is.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

TIA,

Dave

p.s. - Solaris 7, sqwebmail 2.0.0, vpopmail 4.10.22
