I believe there is an automatic backup that SU uses. Check for options in the "Preferences" dialogue box.

As soon as it finished downloading, My mouse started flashing, and sketchup went all gray. I decided that if I turned it off, and checked in the morning, it probably would've figured itself out. It didn't. Its still like that, and I can't use it. Anyone know how I can fix this? I"ve been thinking of closing it, and restarting my computer, but then I'd lose my work right?
