Hello isiweblink,

I think that items with a type of vacation rental do not have a maximum expiration date. However there is a tradeoff, your items might not be as easily found as if you set the item type to housing and set the listing type to vacation rental. I'd recommend going with a more widely used item type if possible. Housing items will expire after 14 days if they are not updated (the information doesn't need to change, you just have to perform an update on the item).

I found a couple of resourced in the Google Base help center for the benefit of anyone wondering about item expiration. Changing the expiration date using the website interface: http://base.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=27886 . Default expiration date for specific item types:

Regards,

Jeff
