I don't think it is possible to leave the text ready to type.

It would be better to read all the text in from a file, or files (one per scene,) and add the text in one go. This is quite possible.

Good afternoon,

I'm desperately hoping that someone has a plugin somewhere that would do the following with one click:

1 - Create a new layer that is visible only in the current scene (it can be autonamed, I don't mind), 2 - Add some 'screenspace' text on the screen in the top corner (like when you click the ABC tool on the sky) and 3 - Leave it ready to type into.

At the moment, I've got a plugin that will hide a layer in all scenes if I click the plugin, but I'm working with a model with 117 scenes, trying to add annotation/documentation to it, and it's just a collection of actions that I'm having to repeat over and over again - a prime candidate for a plugin, I hope.

Can anyone help me out?
