Subject:Recovery of on-disk data after accidental --initial restart on data nodes

Hello,

I changed the noOfFragementFiles config parameter and did an 'ndbd --initial' on all data nodes to reflect those changes. The nodes were brought up and the config changes took place. The on-disk data files are still in the filesystem, however I can't see the on-disk tables. I realize this is what is supposed to happen and I was supposed to backup/restore the cluster. However, just wondering:

1) Is there a way to have the NDB nodes restore the data from those data files or are those data files now useless?

2) If I have 2 clusters set up and I want to quickly xfer the on-disk data from Cluster A to cluster B, is it possible to FTP the datafiles over to cluster B and have cluster B automatically discover the new data files?

Thanks! Jeff
