Hi there, hi Bil,

I just would like to point that I'm using several heavyweight applications on my machine like CorelDraw13, PhotoshopCS3 for the graphic part or CubaseSX for the audio part (this one is a very sensitive app, including the +150 plugins I have with it!) and none of them have the strange behaviour SketchUp has.

I don't remember when or how, but SU once saved a file. I renamed it Untiled.skp and use it now to start a new sketch. Since file is already created, I don't have to go to the Save menu and just save by clicking the Save icon. I then rename the file in Windows explorer.

I will try uninstall/reinstall once again, wishing that it would do it without any problems. And hope this will resolve the problem.

So it may be a Windows issue on my computer but it seems strange to only occurs with SketchUp. My machine is well-working, security protected and well-maintained (I'm a 20 years experienced PC user but I'm far out of my knowledge here ;-p ). I don't think I will reinstall Windows.

It's sad because appart that, Skecthup is working very well and I already create 20 new interior-design objects. And I really like the way it works for creating!

I'll let you know if I find any solution.

Best regards,

IceSixxx

Hi Icesixxx, It sounds as if you're having a problem saving your file in Google SketchUp. You may want to reboot the computer, and try it. These issues, coupled with the problems we had just getting SketchUp to run on this computer, indicate the problem is most likely an underlying Windows issue. You may want to look in to repairing or reinstalling Windows on this machine.
