PC?
I had a decidedly mixed experience when I tried it. To provide some background, I was testing with people without *any* tech experience.
1. The laptop I used wasn't very good, I don't have a tablet pc myself, so I don't know if this is true in general, but on this one the users had to press very hard for it to register, noone could quite get scrolling down. 2. The dimensions of a laptop are quite different than a phone, people would sit it on the desk and poke at it with a pen. 3. The screen is much larger, about twice as big as it should be, so u can't get any good information about the correctness of sizes
On the other hand, the removal of the mouse helped a bit, when I did testing on the computer people were always looking for mouseover hints or moving the mouse without clicking and expecting things to happen. If I were to do a bunch more testing, I would choose a mouse over the touch screen computer I used, but that might be more due to problems with that individual computer. With any tablet pc though, you will have the screen size issue. (Which is a big problem)
