Following this thread I came across in the archives, we recently converted to Perforce from Visual SourceSafe (the conversion utility worked great, BTW), and the developers user Code Wright as their editor of choice. But every time we try theTools|Options|Source Control|Advanced button in Code Wright to change any Perforce options, it gives an 'Access Violation' error on trying to save, and exits. I still haven't been able to figure this one out. Any ideas?

Thanks, Bala.

One of our developers has shown me this, and every time he restarts VS more files show as not under control?

I have the problem that I cannot reset the default Perforce client any more, so every time I start up I have to go into the Options for it and change it to my new client, If I don't do this, and I open up my new project, I get this complaint. You should double check that the client is set correctly in Tools|Options|Source Control|Advanced button.

correctly, but Codewarrior has the "Synchronize Status" command, and then it is ok....is there such a way to do this in VS?

Sure. Just click on the little Perforce icon that has the '!' next to it, or select "Refresh Status" from the Project|Source Control submenu.
