Dear Mark,

I think this problem is due to special reason but not special circumstance. This is not a occasional problem, and I found other guys also met the same
problem in some BBS discussions, but no one can tell how to fix it. I have try "saving stream into blob' on following different situations, but get
the same error.

------------------------------------------------------ Client machines ( PCs with win2000 and XP JDK 1.4.2_04) Mysql server (4.0.15-log on Redhat Linux Advanced server and 3.23.39 on Sun
solaris 8) Connector/J (3.0.14, 3.1.12a)

----------------------------------------------------

I really want to solve this problem, but I have tried all that I can do.

Could you tell me some cues? I think many other people also need this help!

Thank you very much!

The driver saves big blobs all of the time by many users, and as part of the testsuite that's run every day. It would appear your particular problem is due to special circumstances. Do you have a repeatable testcase?
