I can make it work, I was just being lazy. =0) It's for a Flash app. I would prefer to just request the sizes I need instead of loading larger ones and then having to scale it. I was also hoping for the ability to choose whether the thumbnail is to be cropped or not instead of creating masks. It would just cut out some extra leg work on my end, not a deal breaker though. Thanks for the response and hard work.

Hello Levi,
You can't currently specify a custom thumbnail size. The thumbsize query parameter is used to define which sized thumbnail you wish to get, but it has to be one of the accepted values. We have a feature request filed to provide a list of the available thumnail sizes in the meta feed.
Do the available thumnail sizes not fit your use case?

Can you not specify a custom thumbnail size? Like say...
http://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/api/user/liz/album/NetherfieldP... (thumbsize: That is not one of the acceptable values)
or
http://lh3.google.com/image/liz/.../photoName.jpg?imgmax=100 (file not found)
Or do you only get the choice of 72, 144, and 288?
If so, what's the point of having the thumbsize query parameter?
Thanks in advance...
