Hello! When trying to install MySQL on Windows XP, the installation goes well
all the way up to 99 percent, after which an error message appears saying (in Swedish); "Installshield Engine has
encountered a problem" and that it needs to be shut down, and asks if I want to send an error log to Microsoft. As expected, not much help
was to be found there. I have tried installing MySQL on C:\ and F:\ on my computer. I am the only admin on it, and I need MySQL to work for PHP web
development from home. I now hope to find an answer from you, can you help me
stop installation from crashing? Best regards, Rickard
