I just rebuilt world on my two machines, one successfully(well..) and one failed. Both were CVSuped last night(17/7/00), approx 05:00 CET.

Now on first machine I followed the officially sanctioned way. Went through all the steps without encountering any problems(as far as I noticed). After I rebooted, I recompiled my custom kernel. To my slight astonishment though my keyboard has reset itself the american default, although my rc.conf clearly specifies that swedish.cp580 is to be used. I figure I can wait until my kernel has compiled before I look deeper into that. Well 20 minutes and a reboot later the problem remains. I also notice that I have no connection to the net anymore, ifconfig -a gives me that my network cards are down. I can find no other reason for all this except that my rc.conf file isn't being read properly. So I copy past all my values from /etc/rc.conf to /etc/defaults/rc.conf and now everything works fine. The rc.conf file is attached.

Now my second machine gets as far as "make installworld" it fails on:

ln: /usr/share/man/man3/setruid.3.gz: No such file or directory *** Error code 1

Now I'm sure both my problems are simple and are the results of a lot of work and no sleep. So be gentle :)
