Hello Queue,

You could add additional links to your items to add references to other XML documents. The data wouldn't be uploaded to Base, but people who pull your item data would be able to follow those links. Does that sound like the functionality you are looking for?

I want to employ Google Base for a specific blog. This blog contains the normal pictures, but also allows for uploading of specific XML files.

Instead of making a URL reference to an image, is it also possible to make a URL reference to an arbitrary text file for inclusion into base? Seemingly, the Base web front end allows for other attachments, I can supposedly add XML files? Can this also be accomplished via the web services API?

Instead of consuming a base item per file records, it'd be nice to encapsulate them in some flat file or XML-style file for inclusion.

I'm not sure that I understand your suggestion, it sounds like you would like to receive your query data in a flat file, or non-XML format. The Google Base API does provide alternate formats like JSON and RSS, but I'd like to know more about your idea,

Thank you,

Jeff

Thanks for any help.
