Dear my friends...

I am not sure whether I have Installed MySQL Connector/J ver 3.0 correctly. What I did after download the *tar.gz file were: 1. extracted it with "gunzip ./*" 2. extracted it with "tar -xvf ./*" 3. extracted it with jar -xvf ./*" 4. I got "~/com/mysql/jdbc/*".

What should I do more after the four done steps above?

I read the explanation about the commercial license. It said: " More specifically:

a) If you include the MySQL server in your non Open Source application, you need a commercial licence for the MySQL server "

Does the MySQL Connector/J ver 3.0 which I am using not run with Sun Star Office 6.0 ?

Please help me further more....
