At the command line:
c:\mysql\bin> mysqld-nt --install
(adapt to the daemon you want to use)

Hi group,
I suspect that this should be a rather straightforward question,
but after reviewing the installation docs, I'm still not sure what I'm
doing wrong. I'd like to install MySQL 4.0 on a Windows 2000 server box,
but the darn thing doesn't want to install itself as a Windows service.
I've added the 'mysqld' settings to my.cnf, rebooted multiple times, etc.
Still no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks!
David
