I made a jingle google client, and I keep it running for a long time.

The problem: after some time , the client stop receiving presence information, looks that the connection with talk.google.com was lost, but the client is not able to realize it (connection lost).

I can simulate this problem disconnection ethernet cable and connecting it again afte some minutes.

If I check the connection with netstat, it is still established, but no message is received from Google server

Does anyone know how to discover that connection with talk.google.com was lost?
