Hello list!
It has been a while, but I managed to get commercial interest in using Eventum as a "communication management system" for customers outside the IT-world. My customer wants to use the system to track complaints and the handling by the support team for real estate.
For this I need to localize Eventum to Dutch (Which is currently for 80% finished) and change some terminology so it fits this none IT segment.
I downloaded a fresh 2.1.1 and installed it. Now I have a couple of questions:
1- I noticed that the /misc/localization directory only contains po files in it's root directory, no mo files in the LC_MESSAGES directories, is this the new approach for this release of Eventum or should I have kept the mo's from previous releases? 2- Might this be the reason why on the User preferences page I cannot set the language? 3- For setting up the seperate languages: Should I use the en_US notation or just 2 letter codes 'en', 'nl' etc.? 4- Are the contents of the automated e-mail also multi language?
I would like to get this right and then write a small instruction for the wiki in return. I already have write access to the wiki.
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Milo van der Linden
