Some of you may be aware of my ACME web-site at:

where I am attempting to gather together SCM "best practices" and other helpful info about SCM. Well - I am ready to announce that the first installment of "best practices" is now ready for public comment. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS STILL A WORK-IN-PROGRESS, but we would like to gather feedback.

I've had a number of requests for this paper in other formats besides HTML. Unfortunately, I can't oblige them at this time. The paper is actually written in HTML, not in Word or Frame (etc.). Even trying to suck the paper up into Word7 is non-trivial since Word messes up on a lot of the formatting and it takes hours to correct it (the paper is about 80 pages when taken all at once - even without the header + TOC on each webpage).

We tried using both word a frame and various points in time but found that HTML suited our current constraints best. When the paper is closer to being finished, we are likely to provide it in other formats (like PDF) but we regret that we are unable to do so at present.

My apologies in advance!
