There is a very nice freeware utility called ExamDiff that does side-by-side, color-coded, synchronized-scrolling differences. There is also a shareware version called ExamDiff Pro which has additional nice features, including comparing directories, editing, copying, and renaming of files, printing and print preview, etc. Find it at:

I worked a with Visual Source Save and now we are changing to P4. Is it possible to use the VSS diff tool in P4? The graphical representation of having one file on the left and the other one on the right half of the screen is better to read that the having them sequentially.

Some experiences?
