yes, it can get blocked by firewall. Try out with different on desktop in the sense that with some different kind of internet connection like dhcp.

Dear Swapnil, Sorry for not replying so long. I want not well.
I installed that example in another computer but still it didn't work. Can libjingle be blocked by firewall?

Dear Swapnil, Thanks. I don't need any VOIP. I need only the file transfer. The person from whom I want to take the file may be inside NAT or firewall. So I thought libjingle is good option. And also when I use gmail server too, sometime the file transfer is OK but sometimes the STUN server gives problem saying "bad username" or "no route to host". And Swapnil, I am curious to get the answer to my first question. I am pasting here again.
Actually I was using the network from my college (203.159.10...). And I was not able to login to gmail. Then I changed it to ipstar network (192.168.5...) and now I can send the file. I have no firewall installed in my machine. If I can connect with ipstar network why can't I connect through my college's public network? Is it a firewall issue? With my college network I can easily connect to gmail (gtalk) with gtalk client. But why that example doesn't work with that network?
I will try jabberd also. And thank you very much for your prompt reply.

Hi Pratik, Do you have to use particularly libjingle ?? If no, and you want
VoIP
then
setup the simplest server by *"asterisk". *I have never setup my own server. Sorry :-(

Its a long error. I have only pasted part of it.

I think its invalid pointer to memory issue. And can you refer the best free server that I can use for using libjingle (apart from openfire).
Thank you very much again Swapnil. You made may day.
