I understand that that is what is supposed to happen. For whatever reason
the mail is geting deliverd to a file Maildir in the $HOME/Maildir
directory. The file get recreated everytime a message arrives. I know they
should arrive in the $HOME/Maildir/new directory. What would make them get
delivered to a file and not a directory???

Any sugestions as why user 'adam' can't pop his mail or view it from the

Messages should arrive in $HOME/Maildir/new/ (and be moved to /cur/ once
read)
If you are delivering messages to $HOME/Maildir/Maildir/new/ then the POP3
and webmail programs won't be able to see them.
