I have a "Sam's learn MySQL " and am excited and committed.

I loaded the MySQL off the disk which came with the book. version 3.22

(the book is copy write in 2000)

I run Windows 2000.

I can not make progress with the install with either the book's documentation or the documentation with the download.

I need help. An excellent, appropriate reference would greatly help me get started.
