Hi,

When a customer is creating an issue, we want the description field to be
non-updatable.The customer and us, also need to add information, in similar way
as the "Internal Notes" works.

But, if the customer is given the role "Reporter", we lock the description
field, which is good. But the customer can not give us more information to the
issue, which is bad.

If the customer is given the 'Standard User', he can change the description
field, which is bad.

Summa summarum, any information (notes, comments, descriptions) added to an
Issue, we absolutely need to be non-changeable. Can this be achieved with
Eventum without hacking the system?

What to do? Is there any 'out-of-the-box' solution?

I need to make this more obvious in the administration section but if you add an email account a reporter will be able to be able to post new information as emails, both from the web interface and via email (depending on how you have it setup) similar to internal notes.

Best Regards,
