Dear Thread Followers,

The latest techniques seem to indicate that "crooning" behaviour, thought at one time to be a simple effect of the "Valee" allele on chromosome 6 is actually modulated by the complex interaction of alleles at several loci (or is that loci at several alleles?) These are known collectively as the "Brat Pack" of genes..after Zigismund Brat who first hypothesized their existence.
