ola,
so, what do you mean exactly?
that doing an object called "osc" ( and also *~, and also many more ) in a patcher like pd, has _nothing to do with pd, _klaro_
who are you trying to fool around? this won't help people to think you're a copycat, man ...
and without conciousness .... that's the problem ...
i feel very clean, sane and happy, if you'd like to know.
saludos, desde el mundo moviendose, para lo mejor..

actually, you are fooling yourself enough.
again, get the facts straight before you suppose anything about anyone/anything :
the graphical representation of the ~ is used for centuries now to show that either a (signal) generator is meant and since decades it also means any form of alternating signal. now a question do you: what do you think is the reason that the ~ symbol is used in (not only) pd to show that it has to do with a signal?
also, im sorry that * is used as symbol for multiplication in pd, but you might be surprised to know that this is the case for decades in the computer world, even before pd was born.
should i also add that im sorry that mathematical names like sin, cos, abs, etc. are used in karma as well? if so, miller should be sorry for using these terms because that is what they are called in c as well. and probably kerningham and richie are not even allowed to use these terms, since some mathematicians even have used that before. well, at least according to your funky understanding.
btw, if you really complain that someone uses someone elses ideas in his own stuff, you might be surprised to know that exactly that is one of the reasons that open source exist.
haha, really, the more you say, the more you contradict yourself. why cant you just admit and say "damn, i made a mistake by assuming this or that, im sorry for that"?
youre really funny, boy.....
chris
