Hi Sam
Thanks for your answer, but README.authmysql.html confuses me by saying
in a note (the docs contradicts itself):
"NOTE: this authentication module should NOT be used if you are using
the vpopmail virtual mailing list manager. You should select the
authvchkpw authentication module instead (which should happen
automatically). It may be necessary to use the --without-authmysql flag
to the configure script, because configure by default will include
authmysql if it finds MySQL client libraries.."
Now what IS the best thing to do ?
Using authvchkpw or authmysql module with vpopmail?
(Sorry if this has been up on the list before)
Med venlig hilsen / Best regards

Hi
I got vpopmail running and currently I think I'm using the authvchkpw
module through authdaemond.
My authdaemonrc file has only
authmodulelist="authvchkpw"
But the install instructions say that authvchkpw is deprecated. Is
there an alternative when using vpopmail ? E.g. through daemontools ?
Use authmysql.
