Blogger's interface supports the setting of a post's date at initial publishing time. Great!

On some systems (notably, WordPress), a post dated in the future is interpreted as a scheduled post, not to be published until that date has passed.

On Blogger, the current behavior allows for anomalies like this entry:

http://marsedit.blogspot.com/2007/05/testing-future.html

Which purports to have been written in May, 2007, but obviously couldn't have been.

It would be nice if Blogger adopted the same approach to future- posting as WordPress.
