would you recommend putting HTTP and SQL node on the same box? based on the documentation SQL node acts as an interface to the data nodes... it would be a waste of processing power, and hardware resources if ill be allotting 1 box for each sql node... so whenever i scale out my http boxes it means that ill be scaling out my SQL node.. i just dont know if (scaling out sql nodes will make some impact in terms of performance..

tia,

By default older Linux versions split into 2GB for each kernel -> and user space. Windows has a 2/2GB split by default, too, but a 3GB user -> space per process can be requested using a special boot parameter -> This is true to a point. In the boot.ini you would need to use the /3GB boot switch. But this will do you no good unless the program has been compiled with the IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE bit set in their image header.
