Not really. In fact, it is only with your mail that I realized that
such a functionality existed for Windows (only).
I thought that you should be able to use p4.el just as it is, and have
it work on Windows. Doesn't it?
There are two problems with Windows that I've seen. The first is
that the default locations for p4 are Unix locations. The second
is that the default Perforce installation on MS machines uses the
registry for P4PORT, P4CLIENT, P4USER etc., and they don't show up in
the environment.
BTW, you were right -- setting the value for the executable fixed
the problem.
